Less Than A Week To Go
It's Friday! I'm spending this time wisely, been busy on the As Live project in the past couple of days and now I'm cramming in time to sort out Monday's presentation and finishing my sound project by polishing up sounds.
As Live went really quick, two long days of hard work but all good fun and we're all so lucky to have the experience. I was reacting to one of the teams and giving singles of each member and giving close-ups following the action on the games. Being a camera operator really improved skills such as working under pressure, multi-tasking, listening and watching and being speedy. Enjoyed it very much :)
Last night on BBC2 on The Review Show they discussed many of the interesting topics surrounding the future of British television. Extremely relevant to what I had mentioned in my essay and what I may add to my presentation.

To the Sea
Nearing the end of this semester and working into my sound project. It's building up nicely now, just need to fix some sounds, and level them so they work together in harmony :) Also, making some decisions as whether I'm going to add some more medical sounds halfway through.. Hm..
As Live starts tomorrow and Thursday, an early 8am start with the Year 2s, very exciting! Hopefully it'll run as smoothly as possible, and we all look super professional around the contestants, the presenter and the audience of 40 people.
And my Media Strategies Presentation. There's so much to say about the Television Industry! And audiences and the future. I'm working on getting my words together so I can explain what I need to in a way that makes sense, and that's enjoyable!

Mixing
My photos are in Final Cut Pro, still condensing them so I have less and less and more time is spent watching fewer photos as opposed to a sequence, or flip book. More emphasis is placed on the sound to move the story forward and to get a sense of the environment and the character's thoughts and emotions.
