All the editing so far is complete. I just have some flashy graphics to put in, transitions, effects and colour correct the whole footage. I'll probably do this in three stages: expose and colour each shot, add the looks, then work on focus points. There are 4 looks in the film: Act 1 is probably more warm, Act 2 is more desaturated, Act 3 is black and white, then the dream-like sequences are more softer looking.
The soundtrack is all pieced together, now we have the cut, we can make the final adjustments to the music, changing effects and adding more sounds. The composer presented a number of ideas, we also used an original track he'd already written. This was sent to our sound supervisor who built the soundtrack and adding sound effects between and over each song.
Whilst Lauren was editing the footage, I created the titles and graphics using After Effects and all the bits and pieces I had filmed whilst experimenting. I've also built a website, which we'll add stills and extra content to once the film once it's graded and finished. I've also created the DVD cover using our logo. So all the branding of the film is there, fitting with the whole style of the film.
