Most of the videos I watch use Ken Burns, where they crop and move the image in editing. So when I shoot I do move the camera to get pans, tilts and focus pulls. But I also shoot completely still shots, as you can do all these movements in editing instead.
Good plan - allow yourself plenty of options with your shots and plenty of safety shots are always good!
