Turning us into trailer-making professionals...

The past couple of days, Dean and I have been creating a 1 minute trailer for the 10 minute film 'Soft' using Final Cut Pro. From this we learnt that a trailer is about picking the meat from the fat off a big bloody carcass. Add some dramatic music et voilà!.. 

Not so easy. We had to consider what shots to use, which order to put them, and in keeping with the dynamics of the music. On top of that, adding titles and transitions to create something powerful enough to sell the idea.
